Courgette arancini breaded with italian sesame seeds

Delicious and suitable as appetizer!

5 medium courgettes

200 g. of mozzarella

2 tbsp of parmesan cheese

1 egg

200 g. of ham

10 tbsp of bread crumbs

4 tbsp of sesame seeds

1 garlic clove

Salt and pepper

Sunflower oil for frying


  • Wash and cut courgettes.

  • Heat oil in medium high-sided pan and add garlic and courgettes, cooking for 3 minutes until browned.

  • Let them cool down, then put them in a bowl with parmesan cheese, egg, salt and pepper.

  • Mix everything obtaining a homogeneous mixture.

  • Dice mozzarella and ham.

  • Mix separately bread crumbs with sesame seeds in a bowl.

  • In the meantime, heat about 2 inches of oil in a large saucepan over medium heat for frying the arancini.

  • Shape the mixture into balls, placing pieces of mozzarella and ham in the center.

  • Dip into breadcrumbs and sesame seeds, then fry the arancini in boiling oil until browned.

  • Drain them and serve!
